Antioxidant activity of methanolic extracts from three coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) fruit varieties

In this work, we evaluated for the first time the total polyphenols, flavonoids and condensed tannin contents and the antioxidant potential of the methanolic extracts of coriander fruit by DPPH, reducing power and b-carotene/linoleic acid assays. The results could provide information about the potential utility of C. sativum L. as a raw material source for industrial utilization of phenolic components.
